Over-grown cottage on Highway One (Mendocino County)

Ago

The rise of racing fog along the folds of the coast

The fog consumed the coastal hills in record speed and chilled everything in its path.

Helter-Skelter Sea Gulls

Sunset at Pescadero beach, with sea gulls screaming and flying in all directions.

Van Damme Suite, Little River, California.

The "Islands" near Elk (Mendocino County)

This (20" x  40") hangs above my fireplace. It's simply always spectacular to me. A favorite song for the eyes.

Surprise Whale Tail! (Mendocino)

The ocean was as calm as a lake; the water's reflections of the layers in the sky begged for a picture. Just as the shutter clicked ... a tail!

Fire Sunset

Sunset during the California fires.

Nearby Sculpture (Ahwahnee)

The sculpture is made almost entirely with washers!

Hands ...

Everyone who sees this has an opinion about what it represents; go ahead, have an opinion!

Harley Gig at Apple Jack's Bar (La Honda)

Directing traffic for the event, Harleys for as far as the eye could see. Can you imagine the noise?!  Apple Jack's is an iconic bar boasted to be one of the oldest in Northern California. (I'm a retired Deputy Sheriff.)

Road to Mendo (Mendocino)

Highway One leading to my favorite place in the universe: Mendocino!  My first "solar" pic remains my favorite.

Cloud enigma

Not sure why these clouds came out in the fashion they did. Blue Shadow was for fun!

Moon through an oak

I watched this full moon set until it fell through my oak tree. The large gloss picture is stunning!

Highway 6

Bishop east on Highway 6. Sitting on the broken lines to take the picture conjured thoughts of
longevity and layers.

Morro Rock caught at sunset

A band of sun opened on the horizon and left this iconic view of Morro Rock for a few precious moments.
